HOW DESERT DUALS WORKS

Desert Duals uses a branch vs branch, dual meet - style team format.

Each team represents a military branch and competes head-to-head in a series of matches. Every match contributes to the team’s overall score:

• Submissions earn 2 points

• Decisions earn 1 point

• If the match is tied at the end of regulation, the referee will determine the winner

• In the event of a team tie, the win is awarded to the team with the fastest submission time

At the end of each match, the team with the most points advances in the tournament. The competition continues until one team is crowned the winner in the ultimate battle of the branches.
