Bryce Harley

Founder and President of Desert Duals

Bryce Harley is the Founder and President of Desert Duals, a nonprofit military Brazilian Jiu Jitsu organization focused on camaraderie, competition, and community among veterans, reservists, and active duty service members.

A former collegiate wrestler and first degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt based out of Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, Nevada, Bryce has dedicated much of his life to coaching, mentorship, and building community through combat sports. He also works with Merging Vets and Players (MVP), a nonprofit organization that supports veterans and former professional athletes through fitness, mentorship, and peer connection.

Coming from a military family, Bryce created Desert Duals as a way to give back to the veteran community by providing service members with a platform to represent their branch through high level team competition while promoting physical and mental wellness through sport.

Under Bryce’s leadership, Desert Duals has grown into a nationally recognized military grappling event that supports organizations such as the WeDefy Foundation and Stand Down while continuing to promote veteran mental health, community connection, and support for veterans in need.

Through Desert Duals, Bryce remains committed to bringing veterans, active duty service members, reservists, and the martial arts community together through camaraderie, purpose, and competition.
