Lester Lumbad

Director

Lester Lumbad serves as a Director for Desert Duals and is the founder of Veterans Community and Founders Exchange, an organization focused on building meaningful connections throughout the Las Vegas veteran ecosystem by supporting veteran owned businesses, veteran connected businesses, and nonprofit resources within the local community.

Lester currently manages the Las Vegas chapter of Merging Vets and Players (MVP) and previously served as the Platoon Leader for The Mission Continues Las Vegas. Both nonprofit organizations focus heavily on mental health, peer connection, and strengthening the veteran community through fitness, leadership, and volunteer engagement.

Lester was also formerly appointed as the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA) for Southern Nevada by former United States Secretary of the Army, The Honorable Christine Wormuth, serving in the role through the conclusion of the Civilian Aide program in 2025.

Through his continued leadership and community involvement, Lester remains dedicated to strengthening veteran support systems, fostering connection, and creating opportunities that positively impact the military and veteran community throughout Las Vegas.
